Hello, my name is Larry Franz
I joined the Air Force in 1984 because I wanted to work on the largest and most amazing aircraft I could. In 1989, I received my Airframe and Powerplant(A&P) certification while stationed in Hawaii. I worked at Executive Beechcraft in Kansas City after I left Active Duty, and joined the Air National Guard at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in 1993. Shortly after, I received a full time position in the Maintenance Squadron where I was a Maintenance Supervisor, Crew Chief, and Quality Assurance throughout my career lasting until my retirement in 2015. During this time I've maintained my A&P License as well as receiving my Inspection Authorization rating in 2000.
Throughout the years I have spent my off-duty time also working on the civilian side of the airport and been fortunate to work on many aircraft. Additionally, I received my private pilot's license in 1999 for single engine aircraft. With decades of aviation maintenance experience, I look forward to helping you with your aviation needs!
